"I’ll ask you one last time, and I expect an answer. Where is the treasure map piece? " Eztli simply asked with little trace of anger or annoyance in his voice. In his hand he held a dagger with a blood stained blade against the neck of an uninvited guest outside tipi. Rumours were known to spread quickly around Neverland, especially a rumour concerning Captain Pan’s treasure map and apparently pieces being scattered across Neverland. And any rumour with the words treasure and Captain Pan always was within the interest of the people of Neverland. Including Eztli. And this was something he was not going to allow any pirate, any of his fellow tribe members nor anyone else in finding the treasure map and the treasure itself. Including this short, frightened young boy who was trespassing on the Scorpion’s land.
The young boy continued to go on and on about something irrelevant and wasn’t getting straight to the point answering his question. Sighing, Eztli pushed the blade closer against the neck of the boy, almost leaving a cut against it. "Are you deaf as well as stupid. I only asked a simple question as to where is the map piece? You sneak onto our land so you must know something, yes. So this time answer the question or I will kill you. " The younger male let out a high pitched squeal. "A-Ah I don’t know I swear. Please don’t k-kill me! I-I just thought that the map piece might be somewhere w-where no one would s-supect it to be." The male made a good point, who would suspect a map piece to be here. Eztli removed the blade from his neck and moved a few steps back. "Fine, I will spare you your life and let you leave. But if I catch you here again, then I will slice you to pieces. Understand? " Without so much as a reply, the younger male frantically nodded and ran off as fast as well a fairy. But just as soon as he the boy had ran away he heard the sound of footsteps, coming towards the camp from another direction. Perhaps somebody else was here to look for the map.

All of the lost children were on the hunt for the missing treasure pieces and she was no different! But unlike the rest of them she had a unique advantage; her tarot cards.
The cards had told her that what she wanted lay in the place that was unknown to many, and she had interpreted that as the Scorpion’s campground. After all, pirate’s cove was too easy to get to and everywhere else was free reign to the lost children, so this was the only logical place.
To Alice it was all a big game, and never mind what everyone said about these Indians being dangerous. How bad could they be when the Piccaninny tribe was so nice? Weren’t they basically the same, since they were all Indians? Alice was ignorant to the ways of the tribes and just followed her instincts and the path laid out before her by the beat up bunch of cards. But she didn’t go on this mission alone, or at least, she hadn’t started off alone.
“Thomas, wait up! You’re too fast!” Alice called as she emerged from the woods, finally seeing the little village. Her eyes swept the area, trying to find her friend who had run on ahead, but she only saw a tall Indian man with a big knife.
Without any sort of hesitation or apprehension she ran up to the figure, panting slightly and motioning wildly before finally catching her breath enough to speak. “Excuse me, but have you seen Thomas? We’re supposed to be looking for the treasure map together, but he ran on ahead without me.” At the last bit she stuck out her bottom lip, obviously still cross about being abandoned. She didn’t have any sort of weapon on her, the only thing around her waist being a small pouch that held her tarot cards.
The most unlikely pair ever? I think so, but I just couldn't help it I love the randomness of it :3 |

”What the…?” Eztli stopped and blinked as the origins of the running footsteps was now their for him to see. ”Another lost child.” The second child he had the displeasure to meet this afternoon. But before he had the chance to say anything to the newcomer, he watched as the young girl was running towards him instead of in the opposite direction, paused once she had reached him to catch her breathe and was questioning him about someone of the name Thomas. Wait Thomas. Was that the boy that had arrived a few minutes earlier, frightened and almost killed.
”Thomas, let me see,” he said, as he squatted down in front of the young girl, his dagger going back and forth between his hands. ”This Thomas friend that you speak of, is he around your height, no a tiny bit taller, has a dark hair and eye colour and repeats letters when nervous. Oh and can never get straight to the point when he is asked a question. Eztli pointed his dagger at her and began to swirl it in the air, leaning his head forwards and backwards as he did so. ”If so, then your friend went that way. The tip of his blade had not swirling in the air and instead was pointing past Eztli’s shoulders, to some jagged rocks at the end of the camp. He lowered his hand holding the dagger, blinked and leaned his head against his shoulder.
A hint of curiosity grew on Eztli’s face as he extended his body so he was standing upright once more. ”Aren’t you and this Thomas rather young to be to treasure map hunting, let alone being in the Scorpion camp? Shouldn’t you be flying around Neverland or causing a nuisance to a pirate as you do so well. Aren’t you afraid of us? He inquired, slicing the air with his dagger in front of her a few times before placing his arm by his side once more. ”Aren’t you afraid of me?” he asked, his voice rather cold as he studied the young girl carefully. Unlike the young boy before her who had ran at the first site of seeing the scorpion, this girl had not screamed nor ran away at the sight of his bloodied dagger but instead had ran towards him without an ounce of fear. And with no weapon at her side, well one that Eztli could not see on her, made him spark some kind of interest in her.
ooc: i’m loving this odd pairing. i can’t stop laughing about how interesting these two would act with each other. i’m hating my post though. not one of best things i have written.

| [atrb=cellpadding,0][atrb=cellspacing,0][atrb=style,width: 300px; padding: 10 10 10 10;][atrb= valign, top] The Indian guy brought himself down to eye level with her and she couldn’t help but gape a little at his face. It’s not that he was ugly or something, but he had a big scar down one eye! She didn’t listen to what he was saying much, instead fantasizing about all the ways he could have gotten a scar like that. Most of them were rather silly, like falling from a tree and having his face run against a pointy branch, but still she liked to make up stuff even if it probably didn’t happen.
Her mind went almost straight to those long knives the pirates carry and decided with a great amount of certainty that this Indian must have had an accident with a knife such as that. But as he pointed his own knife, covered in blood no less, at her she figured one that size would probably be enough for a scar like that as well.
As he tipped the blade in the direction of where Thomas ran off she followed it with her head, scrunching up her brow. “He went the wrong way, that idiot.” She muttered, her hands absentmindedly running through her hair as she glanced between the man and the place where Thomas had disappeared to. The Indian stood up to his full, and considerable, height again and started to speak.
This time Alice paid attention, tilting her head to the side slightly and giving him a rather silly grin as he showed off his knife skills just like the boys back at the hideout were always doing. Yes, perhaps he was right and they were a bit too young, but what was wrong with that? They didn’t need weapons or height to find a treasure piece; just some luck and imagination! And she did like to play with the pirates, but Morty didn’t seem to like it when she did that so she had given it a break.
”Aren’t you afraid of me?”
Alice seemed to consider him for a second, squinting a little as she looked at him, before smiling again. With a shrug she said cheerfully, “Not really, why? Should I be? I mean, Thomas is afraid of everything so you can’t base us lost kid’s bravery off of one boy.”
She thought about it for a second, tapping her cheek with one finger and saying lightly, “You know this treasure-thing we’re all looking for? It was actually hidden by Peter Pan, who was a lost kid himself! So I reckon that we will be the ones to find it, cause it’s rightfully ours, see? And I wouldn’t mind sharing it with fraidy-cats like Thomas anyway, it’s really just about the fun in looking!” She smiled and nodded sagely at the man, pulling at the edge of her skirt before checking the sun to calculate the time.
“I’d better go find him – he’s hopeless without me and my directions.” Alice said, perhaps a little proudly, but she was hardly ever the responsible and reliable one, so she had to bask in the glory a little.
Oh no your post was great! It set it right up for Alice, and I'm really looking forward to this too |
