If there’s one thing for the younger Bueguig twin, it’s that every day is a new possibility to bring someone pain and trouble. Imbued with the morals of the Scorpion tribe from a young child, it could be said that Meoquanee Bueguig is not very similar to those she share a tribal identity with. Though she enjoys violence from time to time, she much preferred to manipulate her way into people’s good books before slapping them in the face. It’s not that the young woman was evil through and through, it’s just that her idea of fun isn’t exactly someone else’s cup of tea. Today, for example, Meo’s fun involves the teasing of some mermaids. Those haughty beasts have attitudes that rival Meo’s own personality and it’s not rare for the two to butt heads. Most of all though, Meo was looking forward to a cold swim in the Mermaid Lagoon with her twin sister on this hot day.
Weaving through the bushes, she called behind to Migi. “Come on, you slow poke!” Meo pushed past an especially stubborn branch, making sure not to let it bounce back and smack Migi in the face. She could hear the whisper of water in the distance and some girlish giggles. “By the time we get there, the sun will have gone down. You do wanna swim today, don’t you?” Not that Meo really had taken into consideration her sister’s response before dragging her off. Usually, things go Meo’s way with very little questioning.

Where Meo was an extrovert the older of the Scorpion Bueguigs was quieter and much more reserved. In the presence of her sister however, when she was most comfortable, her personality blossomed into a close mimicry – though her morals left her doing little more than pestering others. She could be just as rowdy as Meo, but with less and inclination to cause trouble. “Even if the sun sets it won’t stop you.” She pointed out, passing the branch and following her sister along. She started peeling away layers of clothes, stripping down to her sleeveless top and shorts. She dropped the animal skin clothing onto the ground, reveling in the feeling of the sun on her tanned skin. Then, without consideration for the mermaids giggling in the water, she shouted “GERONIMO!” and went sprinting off the fair sized cliff into the blue waters below.

Giggling, because her sister was absolutely correct—a little moonlight swim doesn’t kill anyone—Meo followed behind to catch up. Her sister had began to strip down to the under clothes beneath and Meo pulled off her shirt and skirt, revealing her bandeau bra and shorts. Unlike Migi, Meo was far less worried about showing a bit more skin than she usually is showing. Standing at the edge of the cliff where Migi had jumped off, Meo marveled at the sight and laughed at the mermaids who were suddenly interrupted with their afternoon sunbathing by a pair of rowdy indians. They glared at the two with distaste and those near by the cliff fixed their hair with angry chitters, having gotten it mussed up when Migi jumped off the cliff with a splash. Waiting until they had gotten their fairly fixed, Meo gave a might crow and sprung off the cliff with a flip.
The shock of cold water smacking her skin made her slightly dizzy for several seconds before she shook her head and rose to the surface. The mermaids had moved away out of anger. Looking around for Migi, Meo called for her sister before swimming towards the rock in the middle. The mermaids sitting atop the rock knew that a fight for the rock was to come and glared at the dark skinned girl.
“Ladies, let’s share the rock today.” Meo called pleasantly, floating in the water at the foot of the rock. “Or you can just give the rock to us.”

Migisi joined her sister a moment later to float before climbing onto the warm stone and grinning at the Mermaids there - they cringed of course and sent snooty glares at the sisters. "Yeah, we care share." She said in a sing-song voice yanking on one fish girl's purple hair. She shot a glance to her sister a cocky glance, not many would be willing to boldly pull a Mermaid's hair, much less get so close to one with the prospects of drowning being so good (then again that was really only during the full moon when Mermaids were dangerous, otherwise they usually just haughtily dived underwater to grief reef or their homes). "Sharing is caring right?"
