“Captain!” Livy pulled him aside while a child in a net was directed elsewhere. “What do you think you’re doing?” She didn’t indicate to anything, which might cause the captain confusion, but it was clear from the way her voice shook that she was not at all pleased with him. Her green eyes were alight with fury; she could not believe that the captain would kidnap her sister, of all the lost children in Neverland, her sister had to be the one. Her fists were clenched at her sides, better that than flying towards Mortimer’s face, she didn’t want the crew to think that she was about to perform mutiny after all.

No sooner had he returned with the child on board, his sailing master stomping over with a look on her face he admit he had not seen often before. And if he had seen it, it had never been directed towards him. The young woman pulled him aside, and growled at him in such a manner that he find himself startled and slightly apprehensive of what was to come next. But he had done nothing wrong, simply doing a task that was performed often on the ship. Sometimes Livy even helps him. They always make sure not to harm the child. Mortimer glanced at his men, who had stopped and looked at the duo with caution, wondering what was going on. The child did not have a single scratch on him. Rather, Mortimer was the one with a wound. He felt wrongly accused of something he had not done and the frustration gripped its fingers around his heart. Nevertheless, he kept his calm.
“Just doing my job, Miss Shea. Have you forgotten that we’re pirates?” Glancing at her clenched fist, Mortimer took a step back. “And what is it you have a problem with?”

“No, Captain, I know full well what we are.” Despite all the eyes and the shakiness in her tone she kept the volume very even and concise. It was very important for her to not yell, because if she yelled then maybe they would all know just what she was trying to say – she did not want the rest of the crew to know about her sister, hell she didn’t even want her captain to know the person he’s just captured was a relative of her. “Let that child go and find a new one.” Of course she’d helped him from time to time… she was making sure that he didn’t accidentally capture her sister! The one day that he doesn’t have her go alone, oh it was just her rotten luck that he stumbled upon the brunette boyish-girl that was Corey Shea. It was just her rotten luck. She was actually surprised Mortimer hadn’t caught glimpses of familiarity. Then again, Livy was a tad more feminine than her younger sister.

Her mannerism was off setting the pirate, and getting more and more on his nerves. Especially the fact that she refused to disclose just why she was so upset. Still, he refused to get too heated up over his crew woman’s strange behavior. He gestured at his men, who took the child into his cabin instead of under the ship. “Let’s discuss this in my room.” he said simply before heading off to his room, knowing that Livy would follow his order. He had never been unfair to his crew before, and thus he expects absolute loyalty among them. It was impossible to believe that they have no secrets either, but Mortimer refused to let his crew’s private affairs in the way of his job.
Glancing at the child, who seemed to have calmed down considerably, he removed the make shift bandage on his arm while searching for a real one.
“And what’s so special about this child, Livy?” Glancing at the girl, he raised an eyebrow. “You never seemed to have much to complain about before.”

"Sir," She straightened up as she followed him in and then glared the two men out of the Captain's Cabin. She did not look at the child in the net - who may or may not have been rather dumbfound, and who no doubt realized just who she was. There was no way Corey would forget her older pirate sister - Corey hated her after all. "The difference, sir, is that this child is my family." She didn't want to say that Corey was her sister - family was enough and Mortimer knew full well that she'd been lost child before turning to piracy. Her lips were pressed tightly together, forming a straight line, but there was no mistaking the large eyes and fringed bangs of the sisters. Livy's hair might've been darker, and her eyes much greener, but this was simply because she took after their mother - not that she recalled who the woman was anymore.
