This was perfect. No loud noises, no worries, no duties. The piccaninnian lay in the middle of a vast field of flowers with his eyes closed and his hands neatly folded under his fair head. He was supposed to be out hunting, since it was his turn. Well he did actually set off to accomplish this and in fact was still in the middle of it. He was just taking a break, oblivious to the time flying by. The peacefulness of his surroundings seemed to want to keep him there, though this was probably just an excuse for his procrastination. The dark-skinned male took in another gulp of air and slowly let it flow out through his nostrils. It was just him, this comfortable bed of earth and the beautiful sky-...
Drip-, drop-...
Two drops of rain splashed each of Nahuel's smooth cheeks. One rolled down to tickle his earlobe and the other ran down the side of his neck. His eyelids lazily raised themselves to reveal the aqua orbs beneath them. The clouds that used to be white and fluffy now looked rather intimidating and gloomy. A low chuckle erupted from the male. He bet one of the elders were cursing him for slacking off. He closed his eyes once again, letting a few heavier droplets taint his thin clothing. He kept his position, feeling a foolish impulse to just see what would happen.

Looked as if it would rain... rain in rainbow falls was always gorgeous. He couldn't help but let an excited grin cross his face. "Ah..." |
[/color] he mumbled, looking back up at the sky. The sun was still trying to peek out behind the clouds -- it was a sweet sight, and the only one he was paying attention to for the moment. He grinned once more and shrugged off his overcoat. Slinging it over his shoulder, he took a few steps forward before the rain started to patter against his skin. "There we go... ahoy there little droplets..."[/color] He couldn't help but wonder if fairies were working hard to fling the rain against him and the rest of the area. He looked forward and stopped, letting out a slightly startled, soft bark. "Woah -- oh... 'ey, there, kid. Aren't you a bit cold with the rain fallin' and all?"[/color] he murmured, taking a few steps closer to the tanned boy. He looked to be about in his early twenties, dark skinned with startlingly white hair. He was quite a sight to see, and Harley didn't deny his eyes a closer look at the man. "You wouldn't want that pretty face to get frost bitten, would you?"[/color] he purred, tilting his head to the side to study him.[/div] even though you've lost your mind NOW THERE'S GRAVEL IN OUR VOICES, GLASSES SHATTER FROM THE FIGHT, IT'S A TUG OF WAR YOU'LL ALWAYS WIN, EVEN WHEN I'M RIGHT. Nahuel listened as they fell onto the flowers around him and felt the water soak into his garbs and touch his skin. Then a different sound brushed through his ears. It seemed like muffled footsteps and soft murmuring(which he couldn't make out as the wind was blowing the other direction). By the tone of it, he could tell it was no fairy or a female. With his eyes still closed the redskin calmly waited. The feet stopped right next to him and the strange finally spoke loud enough for him to hear.
You wouldn't want that pretty face to get frost bitten, would you?
Nahuel slowly lifted his eyes open and saw a man(around his age) staring at him with his head cocked to the side. He said nothing as the aqua orbs lightly scanned him head to toe. The man was a pirate, no doubt. His garment was none like the ones his kind wore and he had the salty fishy smell of the sea about him.
A pirate... This could be bad for him. The pirates of Neverland were known fighters and ruffians who beat down anyone in there way. Not that he was scared, no of course not. However, that didn't mean he wasn't be cautious. Nahuel lifted his upper body up into a sitting position and looked up and the other male's face. He looked into his eye and started making his reply.
Frost doesn't bite. He spoke in a cool tone. The Picaninnian was referring to a fairy he knew. He let his hand (which was the one visible to the pirate) lay on his thigh while he slowly reached out with the partially visible one to get a hold of his quiver, packed with his longbow and a dozen arrows. She's more of the kissing type. Showing off his pearly whites, Nahuel smirked as he felt the rain fall through his hair and run down his scalp.[/style] | [bg=210C36][style=background-color: FFFFFF; padding: 10px; width: 100px; height: 100px;][/style] | [bg=FFFFFF][style=width: 220px; font-family: arial narrow; font-size: 12px; text-align: center;]TAGGED: harley<3 NOTES: 8D

That was the one thing that was bad about being a pirate... people knew right away, and they were first afraid. They judged immediately and without mercy. He sighed a little, his face softening a bit as the native reacted. Everything was very subtle, at least, but Harley was quite in-tune with body posture and facial expressions. The native sat up -- he could tell that this was a native with the tanned skin, toned body, and strange but intricate garments -- and so Harley walked closer, circling him. It was as if a tiger was studying his prey before going in for the kill, but he wasn't here for violence. Harley was able to see both hands on the native, but one was less visible than the other. Any normal pirate would grab his sword hilt and immediately attack for fear of his own life.
Of course, Harley wasn't a normal pirate.
The native spoke in a cool and even tone, making Harley's lips curve into a grin. "I think you're talking about a different one, the frost I've encountered always bites... then again, I usually deserve the bites or slaps that I get." |
[/color] He chuckled and sat down near the man, seeing him go for his quiver. Yes, yes, it was expected. He drew his sword, but instead of pointing it at the man's neck, he set it down in full view of the man between them. "No need for any of that, mate. I never attack those who don't deserve it."[/color][/div] even though you've lost your mind NOW THERE'S GRAVEL IN OUR VOICES, GLASSES SHATTER FROM THE FIGHT, IT'S A TUG OF WAR YOU'LL ALWAYS WIN, EVEN WHEN I'M RIGHT. His blue-green eyes never looked away as he did this. The pirate grinned as he made a remark to his frostbite joke. The tan male narrowed his eyes into slits as the rain was now lightly showering and a few drops were attempting to intrude into them. They threateningly slid down his forehead and clung to the brim of his lashes but Nahuel only moved his hand which now had a fistful of the shoulder sash of his quiver. Then the raven plopped himself down next to the redskin. Involuntarily, Nahuel gave a surprised flinch as the male did this. He was truly alarmed when the man grabbed the hilt of his sword and drew it. Nahuel was ready to back away and pull out his bow as well but the pirate placed the blade onto the ground in the gap between them. Confused, he lifted a brow and watched the strange pirate.
No need for any of that, mate. I never attack those who don't deserve it.
The man said in his own reassuring tone. Sure. Nahuel replied mentally. Right, uh... Mate? He smiled as he let the quiver go, then moved his hands to gently pick up the pirate's sword. He lifted it gently up to his face to examine. It wasn't very heavy and was very shiny, especially with the raindrops splashing and rolling about on its surface. The redskin then turned his head to look at the other male again. He was now practically drenched with his shirt clinging to the skin beneath(at the same time guessing that he himself was in a similar state). Actually, it was a lovely sight. The man had a well toned body and a handsome face. Anyone would deem this picture quite sexy. Then he folded his fingers around the hilt of the sword and pulled it up to let it rest right under his counterpart's chin, flat side up. We can introduce ourselves over there where it's less wet. Nahuel lightly jerked his head to a nearby tree that had enough foliage to cover them. Or we can try our luck at getting cozy right here. He let out a soft laugh as he felt the rain getting heavier.[/style] | [bg=210C36][style=background-color: FFFFFF; padding: 10px; width: 100px; height: 100px;][/style] | [bg=FFFFFF][style=width: 220px; font-family: arial narrow; font-size: 12px; text-align: center;]TAGGED: harley<3 NOTES: lol i don't even-
